I have learned soooo much while being here at YWAM
allow me to run you through some of our course studies so far:
The character of God (taught by Peter Warren) - this ran through everything that God is so we can easily identify things that are not of God. We do this based on what we KNOW is and is not of His character.
Passion for God and intimacy with God (taught by Jeff Pratt) - Passion is made up of two things, mind (reason), and heart (revelation), these two together create passion. People are drawn by passion, If we have passion for God, people will be drawn to Him. then we talked about intimacy with God, how to get closer, where we are now etc.
Relationships (taught by our very own leader John Murphy) - this week of teaching showed me many insights as to my what personal problems in relationships are. we went through everything from relationships with eachother to God to marriage.
This weeks teaching is on Inductive bible study (taught by Blake Mattocks) - This week is all about personal private bible study. I'm learning how to dig way deeper than I have ever before. We spent three hours reading through 2 timothy, AND WE COULD HAVE DONE MORE!!! I love all of the things I have learned to far.
Other topics we have studied:
Missions
Fear of the Lord
How to prepare a testimony
I cannot begin to tell you what God has revealed to me in my personal quiet times!

Update
Hey everyone!!!
sorry it has been a while, a lot has been going on lately!
we have been doing lots of biblical studies during the week, and snowboarding every weekend!
It is so incredible here. The views are amazing, the lessons are taught by some of the wisest people I have ever met, and there is such a connection between all of the students here. I am currently in a bunk-room with a total of 11 people. It gets a little smelly at times, but these guys are so much fun to live with. Community living is a new thing for me though. 3 minute showers, sharing everything. If you plan on buying food for yourslef, buy twice as much as you want, because you will be sharing half with everyone. Its cool though because everone shares so you never go hungry.
We also have been doing weekly outreaches, my first one was at a care center for older homeless people getting back on their feet, most are employed, but have no place to stay. We talked to some very interesting people, we prayed for them, then we went back and told our stories with everyone else. (we slit into about 5 groups doing different outreaches).

New upddates on my mission!!!!
I will be flying into thailand at the end of march, we will be spending two weeks in Phuket. There we will be doing some tsunami relief. We will also be teaching children english and some bible studies. The next two weeks we will be in Bangkok. We will be spending most of our time in the red light district. We will be doing prayer walks, the girls in our group will go into bars and talk to prostitutes and exploited children. While the men in our group will be talking to the north american and european men seeking women and children. The last two weeks we will spend in Cambodia... I'm not quite sure what we will be doing there at this moment, but our next missions meeting is soon.
